its ok just looked in the script editor and it said maya could not render pshere so i just deleted it and it works :)

just been working on a project and cant seem to render my scene in Maya software it just appears black, however Maya hardware works fine, any suggestions on how to fix this problem,

its ok now I reinstalled again making wsure to delete all the prefs it left behind and it worked:attn: woo hoo thanks magicsy for help

just found out it only does it to polygon, not nurbs, if that narrows the problem down to some specific tools please tell

Just tried reinstalling, still no luck:headbang:

tried that and it just flips the parts that I can see and makes them invisible and makes the stuff I couldnt see visible thanks for the reply though
