Hi,
It’s me again…
I examined my model and texture map and I realized that the thorns have the shader assigned…OK I selected the faces again and reassigned the shader… but the same result.
Maybe you can see it but the green color of the thorns is not because they have no shader assigned, is the color of the background of the texture map.
In texture mapping on the zoomed detail you can see that I put the thorns UV’s to be on the yellowish color…and in the render they have green peak user added image
I zoomed in to maximum the texture map in Photoshop to see if maybe I mist some green pixels on the yellowish spot, but everything is right… I can’t explain it at all... user added image
Even more… I deleted the shader, I rebuilded the texture projection, I made a new shader, reassigned the shader and guess what… the same result!!!
Shish, this starts to piss me off… user added image
Can be this a Maya bug??? Or what???
I’m waiting other suggestions.
Thanks.
