Frozen Dynamics

Is it possible to have a dynamic particle animation be frozen in time to take frames of the EXACT same placement of the particles (IE: So that the particles aren't the onlything in the scene to be in motion.) Or -- is there a way to have a dynamics animation pre-calculated so each time the animation is run, each frame will look exactly the same way? (That way I could just render frame # blah X times from X camera angles.)
