Doom3's release will tie in nicely with the NV30 - in the .ini file theres an option to turn on NV30 specific features. I've read that on a 9700pro/ti4600 its only really playable at lower resolutions though obviously its early days yet. I guess theres gonna be a bit of a lift in the hardware industry around march (when its released) - NV30's and 3.2 ghz P4's for all anyway whatever- that game looks killer
