Hi magicsy, your doin well and i think you made the right choice in making the human head...im still learnin and still find heads difficult but a couple of things that may help you.

1. if you make half the head a smooth proxy, you can see and manipulate the final result through the whole process. It sometimes helps to use a blinn for this half as well.

2. I was taught that the best way to build a head model is to build each section (eye sockets, mouth, nose and ears in seperate peices, using the create polygon tool and extruding the edges from the first peice, this will give you more control over the shapes. Once this is complete, you can start combing and linking up the peices..

at the end of the day ive seen heads being built in loads of different ways and your def goin in the right direction...

keep goin and if none of wat i just said makes any sense then either ask me or ignore me and good luck.

p.s..im dissapointed you haven commented on my new project...new character 'valentine' yet as usually ur one of the first to comment on my work and i value ur opinion.
