I just did it nearly without help, I had a look at part of the answer sometime during the riddle to see if I'd gotten the colours right, and then accidently saw who owned the fish... Didn't help me though, as I had the fish and the bird mixed up in my head until the end

I'd guess it took me somewhere around 30-40 minutes, but I didn't time it so I can't say for certain...
