I'm sorry, but I can't restrain myself to point out that if someone actually writes a virus for a Mac, its going to topple over as easily as a PC, especially becuase most Mac users have this belief that they are invicible from viruses.

As for Vista, heres my opinion:

Completely useless OS that focuses on the following:

1. How pretty it looks (Aero Desktop)
2. How well it does incredibly difficult things such as searching for files, playing music, videos and making home movies!
3. How easy/annoying it is to use (wizards, notification ballons)
4. How unsecure and privacy lacking it is (You can't even get into My Documents without a background service sending the tech specs of your box to MS - obviously meant for technical support purposes...)

I mean really, an OS is to provide a stable and secure base as small as possible for other apps to run on top. Vista uses more memory than Maya 6.5 Unlimited (my version) while rendering!
