I'm having a problem rendeing the sun in Maya 6.

I have the EnvSky surrounding the image plate. I have the sun in front of the camera i.e. the line from the camera to the sun disc passes through the plate.

Am I missing something or doing sometheing wrong. I'm using mental ray. I assume that's ok.
