Kind of reminds me of the Darwin Awards.

Think it would be called involuntary manslaughter if it was under english law as the old guy caused the death of the other guy, not intending to do so, sort of like if the guy landed on the net and the old guy in a rage threw the TV out of the window and it hit the other guy and killed him, he didnt mean to do it but it happened.
