well I was hoping to get lots of time on this but Uni is taking over modelling at the minute 
Here's my 'various references' version of the Emperor Hadrian of hadrian wall's fame. Modelled originally in 3DsMax then converted to Maya and finally imported into Mudbox for some finer detail. It's been a good learning experience using a sculpting tool instead of push/pulling vertices and no doubt I'll revisit this head and make it better in the future - when I've figured a far better mesh workflow that doesnt take you into millions of polys when you need tens of millions of polys for fine hair detail!
