I've always had an artistic side of me, whether it was drawing (not so much anymore but when I was younger), painting, sculpting, music (mostly what I enjoy to do). I picked up maya because I've wanted to 3d model and animate for a long time. I'd like to make a short someday with my own music playing. I've been seriously thinking about going to school for it but I'm so indecisive it's hard to figure out what I want to do. I'm 23 and live on my own and factory jobs arent' cutting it. I need to persue a career and something I enjoy which at the moment is either music of 3d modeling/animation. The 3d thing seems more like something that could become a career someday so I might go for it. Right now I'm just self teaching to learnt he basics and get it down and see if I really do like it before I spend money on schooling.
