spent all morning trying different combinations of technique. I stumbled upon.., it seems the cylinder rotates itself somehow 12.5% even before I extrude anything, it must happen when I delete the top off the sub-D. cant do anymore until tomorrow and I shouldn't have spent the time doing it this morning but.., a doggedly persistence pays off, priorities is more important though.
