couple more quick questions
I've been looking at the Quadro FX 3450 because it's cheap, 256mb and it's a quadro which seems to be supported by maya 8.5. But when looking at the list it seems to skip right over the 3450 as a qualified card. Any specific reason? Should I be that worried or is it a decent buy?

Just wanted to also fill everyone in that I bought a graphics card not thinking and accidentally bought a AGP instead of a PCI, now I'm stuck with this card. I'm planning on selling it so I figured I'd mention it on here before posting it back up on eBay. It's a ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB DDR 128bit. I bought it quickly as a test, and wasn't able to do the test because, well I don't have an AGP connection on the motherboard. I only paid around $50 plus $9 shipping. It came new, with a VGA to DVI connector, supports tv-out connection for pc to tv or vcr, manual, and cd. I put the graphics card back in it's static resistant plastic so it's safe. Hell, might as well just post the winning bid page. And actually now that I look I lied, I spent almost $60 plus about $10 for shipping. https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300142181014

I wont make the mistake of quickly buying before checking for PCI or VGA

Any help with the Quadro 3450 question, and if you're interested in the ATI card just pm me. I'll hold it for a week or so to see if theres any takes here before going back to eBay.
