this little script might be of help gubar - it lets you set auto save options over any timespan you want. I've not tested it yet though.

bendingiscool - its a pity they dont have the same behaviour as flash where it does a quick test, catches any crazy loops and warns you that it might screw up - well before you have to kill the process or reboot the machine
