Ok to try and make it a little better to see, try putting in a plane and grab 2 edges and extrude upwards to create a 'stage'. Pick a sof colour for the stage, I usually go a nice brown or something to reflect the environment.

How much more have you got left to model? and are you going to texture it mate?? Without a tut man thats pretty damn good so far!
