I was playing with the Jay's mental ray physical sunlight turn table tutorial on the site. Here are some shots using mental ray physical sunlight for the lighting...



Here are some of the detail shots. for some reason I had a hankering to model the safty wires and details that will hardly show. Also it gave me a chance to use a neat nurbs curve extrusion technique to create the twisted wires along a path. And they do look cool for tight shots.





I have not added much. I had a computer virus and had to reinstall my entire system. I still have to finish the rear sight details and model the tripod, ammo box, and ammo belt.
