Problem selecting Hulls - Nurbs sphere


This issue has been brought up before, but those solutions don't work for me.
I am having a problem selecting Hulls, specifically on a Nurbs sphere. I can't select the top most hull, or the tip of the sphere's Hull.
After playing with it multiple times I can grab it but it sure is a pain.
Using Maya 2011.
Anyone experiencing same? See snapshot.
