First great job so far, but I see areas needing tweaking.

First and foremost I say its a good job because as soon as I saw the image I know what your reference image was. Its always nice to honer that reference in some way if its done by another artist, just out of respect.

Anyway - My 2 cents:

1) The overall colour is off - In the film and the ref its a lot more blue - easy fix in photoshop.

2) Not sure if you not finished or your were not planning on modelling the detail but its the small things like this that really help make the sword look great - just like the details on the blade which you got spot on.

3) There is a lot more detail on the top and bottom of the handle - a few more edge loops or extracts would nail this. And I also think its just a tad thin.

But it does look good, great little project to get you back into the swing of things.
