Thank you all for your reply. It was very helpful indeed. I tried and tried and end up redoing the whole thing again. So far is going well and is taking one step at the time with the extrude edges.
Also the Normals>Conform came handy Acid44, thanks mate.

Here's an update. I'm particularly is liking the edge flow for this one. More organized.
