Select the vert by itself, then see what its connected to, its clearly sharing another influence, therefore causing this prob...you then need to make sure it shares the same weight values as its next door neighbour

give it a whirl, rigging takes time so dont rush it. Failing that PM me and we can sort this out, maybe I can look at the file
