Me again,

Got a Q for you all! I posted a Q thru the Maya mailing list and either they're all asleep or no one wants to answer my post - I can always depend on you great folks! I bought the Maya 4.5 Handbook and noticed a section in the lighting chapter the mentions using area lights in creating fake radiosity. Though it is very time prohibitive to use area lights, I like its soft lighting capabilities. Any of you use area lights to light your scenes?

Also, how would area lights work with GIJoe? Also also, anybody here use RealFakeGI? Thanks!
