Have you only used Maya in your 3D adventures? Did you ever start with say Max or Lightwave and then jump to Maya or did you just plough straight in?

I wish I had got my mits on Maya four years ago but then it was £6k so I went down the C4D and AM route... (cheapy) Not that I regret it I have learnt alot, but jumping around three 3D programs can sometimes be a pain in the ARSE .

BTW IMO I think your creature looks great my only negative thought is that it has a boys face... surely a creature with bat-like wings, horns and nails-that-would-take-the-hide-off-a-rhino would have a butt-ugly face?

Only wondering... perhaps this is a new breed of creature to put good/evil traditionalists like me outta joint
