perhaps it's related to render settings somewhere else? what is that material that you've put on the stove? how did you set it up?

are you using mental ray?

perhaps it's related to the mental ray settings
find the ray tracing part in the render settings and boost the reflections and refractions count up a bit (although i dont actually think that would do anything but might be worth trying)
