I'm not opposed to updates if they've got something new to add, but when they do it every year because it's 'time' to release a new version - that makes me suspicious, especially when the upgrade is so expensive. It's like iTunes - every month they release a new version and I find it hard to believe that they aren't aware of the changes they are going to make well in advance.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not against improving the software - I'm all for that, but the cynical side of me can't help but feel like they are milking the users a little... 'we'll release the new cloth system with this version, but lets hold off on the new blah blah, so we have something to release with version 2009....'
