Re: XSI vs. Max

lol, thanks 13'th :p

i think XSI is a much better interface, and has a maya controls setting

Umm- max has ALT MMB for rotate cam, middle wheel for zoom, and ALT LMB for pan. You don't get much simpler then that, just as easy as Maya, or even easier. (I can't remember, I havent used maya in such a long time :p)

but 3DS max is too confusing to learn after maya......

Where'd you come up with that? Cmon, peeps say the exact same thing about Maya or XSI. Once you get used to something, its kinda hard to switch to something else... and that goes for 3ds Max people to XSI, or to Maya, or to Cinema 4d, for that matter.

XSI has a very good dynamics system, 3DSmaxes is kinda lacking, lol

Max cloth is a force to be reckond with. Also, they have hard/soft body dynamics, but its not a key feature. That's cuz max has so many other key features that they don't need to show off a Dynamics system. They have all you need for dynamics. 'nuff said.
