I'm using an AMD 64 2800 w/ a Geforce FX 5700 and Maya 6.0. It seems about 1/2 hr into using Maya ..the attribute/channel section to the right of the screen doesn't want to refresh..it hangs or freezes..I'll minimize Maya @ this point and maximize the screen again..and that particular section shows my wallpaper. I dont know whether it is a Maya refresh issue or my video card..or the combination of the both. I've used all the drivers on the Nvidia website..and they all dont seem to help. very frustrating......Newayz, any help will be much appreicated.
