Thanks for the orthos definitely help for clarity. I'm used to drawing faces and there are some basic guides that help. The eyes, in general are one eye width apart. Corners of the mouth line up with center of the pupils (look straight ahead. Image below is a photoshop painting of my boss. The white lines are for visual reference.



In the side view, there doesn't seem to be enough receeding toward the back of the head and the cheeks might be a little on the high side. This makes the face a plane rather then being a smoother curve. I'll say it again, it is good work for no reference, but I still recommend you look at some head shots to help you identify "landmarks" of facial features. Look at a year book, a family photo album, or on line image searches.
