I have a question about batch rendering. I bought the Maya Fundamentals book, which is great so far BTW, and have just finished the first project. They make what seems to be good sense when they say to render your animation to sequential images rather than a movie file, in case your machine blows up in the middle etc. My question is what do you use to turn those images into an mpeg or avi? Is WinXP's moviemaker good enough or is there some freeware or plug-in? Sorry, but I'm a bit of a newbie . Thanks in advance!
