Ok, I am just learning about UV mapping and wanted to try making some planks of wood. I only did a UV map on 2 sides of the box, the top, and one side. I worked on it in photoshop and brought it in, and it textured the others sides, but textured them strangely with the whole tga picture.


Do I need to UV map every single part of an object? Is that how it is suppose to be done? Or, do you detach the sides you want, UV map them, and then combine them when you are done?

Any help would be great!! Thanks!
