I'm from Livingston. Its a New Town 17ish miles outside Edinburgh. That's in Scotland for those of you who failed Geography. God I bet I am the only one.

Everyone in England is a southerner to me

Liverpool FC Supporter and proud of it...

I would add some Scottish Colloquialisms like:

How = Can mean Why from time to time.
Ginger or Skoosh = Juice (Coke, Sprite, Fanta or similar fizzy drink)
Tattie = Potato
Tattie-bogle = Scare Crow
Teuchter = The name a Highlander gives a Low Land Scotsman
Sasinac = The name a Lowlander gives a Highlander
Nippy Sweetie = Someone who is quick tempered
Breeks = Trousers (Pants)

Oh and for the record on Scotsman has ever said:

"Och aye the 'noo"

Translates to "Oh, Yes just now", really makes no scence.
