Not a smart thing to do, giving away your scanner... also weird. Lol, anyways.. cant wait to see it.. and if its not a refrence that you are going to put in maya.. then you should just start now.. and then you can show us the scanned version later . You still have a couple weeks.. just learn from someone who has done this a few times... you DO NOT want to leave it to the last day.
