The thing about kids your age is they need a buddy to gain strength from during an awkward time of life (your nearly an adult and childish things are being left behind, change is difficult) you want a girlfriend but you don't know why, you have never had one, so you gain strength and intimacy (which is what you are looking for) from your buddies. This is normal, it is a difficult time and you probably think a lot and feel isolated at times. That;s all fine but you want to feel stronger, so you take a side with your buddies and isolate others, making others feel small (gang mentality) to make yourself feel stronger, bigger. It's normal, but when you do find a girlfriend, don't expect her to behave the same as your mates, she will want you to be with her, but you will gravitate to your buddies and f..k the relationship up.
