I was a bit confused as to what you were talking about but now I see. The pelvis is a very dynamic area of human anatomy. Depending on what foot the weight is resting on and the front-to-back rotation of the femur (which accounts for much of the outer 'hip' shape because of its angled ball joint) could change the angle dramatically. Well, maybe not dramatically but enough to create a debate.
