well you still keep your imperfections and coloring and stuff... i see the point people make with the whole 'but you're scarring your body' thing, but i guess i think you only have your body once, why not do something interesting to it. i like when people say "you know, that'll be there forever." tattoos don't have to be fads or whatever...i don't see myself getting tired of my tattoo anytime soon, or the ones i'm planning on getting. maybe if i got my girlfriend's name when i was 17 tattooed on my or something i might regret it, but if you really put some serious thought into what you get you probably won't regret it.
