I agree with you. Some people here can be a bit Condescending. They forget that this is a learning site and that we are all learn from each other.

Anyways... You should definitely add some textures to the face and gear that way it doesn't come out plastic looking. Bump up the resolution and filter size in you shadows so you don't get those jagged edges.

Try posting up your wire frame so we can get a better look at your topology and give you a few of pointers on the modeling. Keep it up man. I included a few pics. regarding face modeling so that you can get a better idea. You got the foundation. Now all you got to refine is your anatomical proportions, like the mouth, nose and ears. Try to get the build the whole body in there.
