thanks for replying. but i dont think that solved it cos i tried scaling the joint size down and FK handles are still there. the IK handles are the ones that have been scaled down (which is ok). but what i really wanna do is remove the FK lines.

toggling the Enable IK/FK Handle function did not change anything too.
