However, if it follows normal artistic conventions, shows some art, and a lot of effort, it might get in. Thing is, people tend to try for submissions, when in reality their images are actually overexploding with potential, .. normally you exploit this potential, BEFORE trying for a submission. I can pull a nurbs sphere too, apply a glass shader, use GI Joe for rendering, and call it an image. That seems to be the approach lately. Show some effort, and it will rewarded by the mods. Show some boring run of the mill thing, and they will yawn at it.
