that would b eentirly up to u. have u ever used maya b4?. if not then the free dog tutorial is a must b4 u enter ure own projects. and i dont know of any tutorials for 3d citys. but i would think is more down to texturing then modeling. and most city sky scrapers are just simple cubes rectangles etc.
