thanks! i'm glad you liked it. i learned HTML mainly by first looking up "basic html tutorial" in google and learning about basic tags (tables and the like) and constructing my site's basic layout (using notepad and saving as .html instead of .txt), and then i just looked up how to do anything i needed. i'm at the point now where i usually don't need to look anything up to do what i need to do. the real challenge is gonna be javascript.
