Hmm... a more advanced Subdivision surface handling algorithm, more like XSI or Modo 201

An optimized UI, with less blank panel space, such as the attribute editor, which is too bulky

Faster polyhandling tools (like you said) like Silo

A cut poly tool similar to 3ds Max's, which you dont have to click on each individual edge, it just cuts through all the edges that you draw thru

An advanced incorporated Pelt Mapping system and the 2 DeepUV style Relax UV algorithms, similar to 3ds Max

More advanced Subdivision Creasing Tools

An edge loop selector that actually works the way you want it to

A system that hilights all of your 3 and n-sided polygons

A faster or more optimized polysmoothing algorithm

A faster smooth proxy algorithm

A more optimized hypershade window, similar to XSI's

An MEL processor that fills in the rest of the command name as you type

A customizible UI color, like in 3ds Max

Less harsh Fur and Hair

Better Cloth like in 3ds Max 8

A UV function that hilights the faces that overlap, like in 3ds Max

An Asset Tracker, like in 3ds Max 8

More Primitives

VRay, which, I heard is in the Beta stage for Maya

Thats all I can think of
