(oh and that chair would probably hurt... i don't know of anyone that has a spine THAT curved) i doubt that the emporer would be staring at pictures of the dalai lama... personally, my problem with the picture is that it's compositionally unbalanced - at the moment your eye is thrown towards the right side of the image which is just blank. i think you need to decide what you want the focus of the image to be and also what you're trying to say. i don't think that this is working at the moment.
