here's a thought. Is that an archeological excavation? I mean, because it looks like someone dug there, there is no fresh grass or anything. Well, in that case, then you could have equipment laying around, and those strings that you see marking areas in an excavation in the discovery channel.
Also, considering that the armor was buried, it looks pretty clean, you should add some dirt to it or something.
