I think ill be able to use maya fine if there is a command to show the normal "file tools veiw edit help etc" bar at the top as then I can just go to view and enable all the other tool bars and views. I cant find one myself, this script editor thingy seems to be very complicated and not intended to be used by anyone who doesn't know what they're doing
