In my limited compositing skills, you would most likely have to make /some/ CGI foregrounds, specifically, the planes and the objects that the spiders would be crawling over, at least, that would help you with depth perception, so you dont have spiders looking like they are climbing in and out of walls, and as far as animations goes, i am not really sure Hopefully someone else can help you with that part .
