I started this yesterday from the Joan of Arc tutorial for 3DS Max (originally in french, but can be found in english here ) and I just wanted to show you guys what I've got so far.






It's a really great tutorial (eventhough it's for Max ) that can be used easily for Maya. I was especially surprised how easy it was to create a head with the technique used here.

Here's a shot of the head. It's my first one, and I think I pretty much nailed it... It's not perfect of cource, there's something about the lips and nose I'm not completely satisfied about, but it will have to do for now



I'm not going to worry about the ear 'cause it'll be covered by hair anyway...
