There is an apache tutorial, but if you don't want to/can't pay for points or model off a tutorial, then I suggest modeling a Sikorsky UH-60L BlackHawk, the US' leading combat helicopter (assuming these are american troops you're animating). It has loads of variations, including the infamous PaveHawk. Being a bit of a BlackHawk fan myself, I tried to model one once, but I really sucked at it (did I mention I'm a nooooooob?) anyway, here are a few things that, to an ace modeler, MIGHT be helpful.... user added image

If you want to try a blackhawk, try googling 'UH-60" Blackhawk" "pave hawk"
"sikorsky blackhawk" "sikorsky UH-60" etc. Also, try this site...
