Wow, great work. Exactly how long did it take you? That really is a nice video, is it just a project or some kind of other thing?

Thanks, the modelling an animation took about 6 hours. The rendering somewhere around 48 hours, and the compositing around an hour.

I just just did it for fun. Tested some dynamics and decided to render it out as a nice animation.

Yeah I know, but the gravity is in fact very high, but tons of other stuff affects too, like mass, friction etc... tried a lots of things, but didn't get it any better than that, then I gave up and moved on with my life.

yeah, i would replace a couple of the shots of the ball going down the lane with just a stationary camera maybe in a couple different locations and maybe a fade out in the end rather than a fly away.
its nice to show people everything that you did but it looks a lot more professional when its done with more realistic camera angles.

i was always told to think about this: if a real camera can't do it than it probably will make the animation look more fake.
most cameras can't fly around the room and swing etc.

just something to keep in mind, ive always been taught that.

the three shots of where it strikes the pins was done fairly well,
and for the opening shot when the camera first zooms in, i would maybe make it go straight in one direction and either stop it and move in another direction or cut to another camera that goes in another direction rather than making an arc with the camera
