I thought that the Man tutorial was for making a cartoon-looking Frankenstein? This looks more like a mutant. If you were going for that look, then it's OK.

i forget if this is nurbs or polys.., lets say polys.., get the split poly tool, split along the fingers and pull out some verts to round off the fingers.., then put it in z brush.., add some toxic looking skin texture and some drool running from the side of the mouth, some fangs and a blaster, and you have a winner, a good character for you next horror animation
