Render Settings

Hi,

Sorry for being a noob but i cant figure out the answer to this question. When i press render a 'output window' appears in a separate window to the render window and its really annoying me. How do i turn this off?

Thanks for your help.

Output window is a default window that loads with the initialization of the mental ray plug-in. If you don't want it to open up then disable the mental ray plug-in.
Problem solved. Even though the window isn't a problem.
But for whatever reason it annoys you, there is your solution.

Thanks for your help people.

Im new to maya coming over from 3d max, which can i say i am loving as maya just seems so much nicer to use. Its just a little annoying having to close a box that appears in front of my render every-time i want to make an alteration to my image thats all but Im getting used to it now though.
