This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Hey! I did some modeling this morning... and I came up with a nice avatar (I think)
I wanted him to look a bit human and less Naavi (just like in the movie)

So I tried to keep some parts of his face human (like the eyes) and I'm pretty happy with what I did

and I actualy have those piercings (stretch) so I modeled 'em to be near as possible of myself
and I will give a try on the hair to really make it look like me

I will shot a picture of myself soon as possible =)
the ones I have are not good for references

just wanted to show his teeth so don't worry about the skin around the mouth

and I also did a couple of modifications on the global shape

Sorry for all the post I can't upload 2 pictures in the same post

There's a new one to see how he looks like me (sorry for the bad picture... I took it from my webcam and I haven't slept since 48 hours so... my eyes are weird lol


( I will work on the little "space"between the eyebrow to have the correct shape... I don't like how the eyebrow muscles are now )

had some fun doing is makeup (no textures... painted on photoshop)

I just did that shot for fun cuz the blue color is driving me crazy now...
